Donations and taxes

Community Impact Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Whether a particular gift is deductible — and for how much — depends on your own circumstances. Please consult your own tax advisor about any donation. We cannot promise a specific tax benefit or amount.

Property donations

Property donations are handled by separate discussion only, outside this website. No gift of property is accepted, agreed to, or promised through this website. Mentioning property donations on this website is general information only; any property gift would require its own separate conversation, review, and written agreement before anything is accepted.

No promises or guarantees

We describe our goals and programs on this website — including building homes, expanding safe and affordable housing, and revitalizing neighborhoods. Those are goals, not promises. No homes built, families housed, or other specific outcomes are promised or guaranteed to any person, family, donor, or community.

We also do not guarantee eligibility for, or receipt of, any program, grant, assistance, housing, or other benefit. Programs and funding can change, run out, or have requirements we do not control, and contacting us or reading this website does not reserve or guarantee a place in any program.

No professional or landlord-tenant relationship

Using this website, contacting us, or donating does not create any attorney-client, advisor, or landlord-tenant relationship between you and Community Impact Outreach. Any help, housing, or services would only begin under a separate written agreement that says so.
